Folly Beach Dances -The Infinite Rhythms of a South Carolina Seashore, Ocean Spirit Photography, May 2014
Recipient – Da Vinci Eye Award – 2015
Endorsed by Karen White, New York Times bestselling author of Return to Tradd Street, please join me on a photographic journey inspired by my essay, Beach Dances, previously published in the Folly Current. FOLLY BEACH DANCES is one of six Da Vinci Eye Award winners for excellence in book cover design for 2015.
Conceived on the sandy shores of a South Carolina seashore, FOLLY BEACH DANCES, tells the story of people, animals, and yes, even structures moving in infinite rhythm. Literary interpretations from award-winning women authors, including myself, accompany the lyrical scenes on Folly Beach.
Diagnosed with lymphoma in June, 2012, I am donating 10 percent of each book sale to LLS. Deb Kersting, Gateway Chapter Director of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, wrote the foreword for the ‘healing’ coffee table book. It’s dedicated to dancers, dreamers, beach lovers, the resident of Folly Beach, and all those with ailments.
Our book is available at Indiebound books; on Amazon, and many stores across South Carolina and Missouri.
