Kentucky Calling article published in AAA Southern Traveler and Midwest Traveler

Happy to say –

“Kentucky Calling.  This spring, let your spirit soar while exploring the charms of Kentucky Horse Country.” article was published in AAA Southern Traveler and AAA Midwest Traveler March/April 2013 issue.

I had so fun much writing about Kentucky’s history, horses, attractions and people, when hubby and I pulled in the driveway from our trip last September, I think it took two days to recover.

And I met many wonderful people along the way – The Jordan’s at Jordan Farm Bed and Breakfast, Michael Blowen at Old Friends Retirement Home for Thoroughbreds, Susan from Louisville CVB, John at Georgetown Tourism, and all the sights and sounds in between –  Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Woodford Reserve, Unique Horse Farm Tours.  I could go on and on.

The Kentucky people will hold a special place in my heart.  And the horses.  Oh, the horses.  Their grace, strength and beauty captivateImage me.

Without further hesitation, here’s Kentucky Calling…
